materialized grid

./all-grids.jpeg

A series of experiments with a code-generated grid pattern placed on tangible material. The pattern was generated in Canvas Sketch by Matt DesLauriers (previous experiments with this tool can be found on Github).

Grid pattern embroidered in orange thread on a black canvas bag. The bag is folded. Closer look at the orange embroidered pattern on black fabric. Grid pattern printed on paper with post-it notes. The pattern flows over both the paper backing and the notes. Same grid pattern over paper with post-it notes. The notes are crumpled; a print error. Grid printed on cardstock. One section of the grid is embroidered through the paper in orange thread.

pre-fermenting: ingredients have been mixed, roughly stirred by hand, water and flour and the magic in the air, this will become something new and the change is rapid but we just have to wait to see when it'll be ready
